New Avengers: Doomsday Promo Shows Off Unexpected Team-up
A Dunkin’ promotion for *Avengers: Doomsday* pairs Channing Tatum’s Gambit with HERBIE, the Fantastic Four’s robot helper. HERBIE uses two Munchkin doughnut holes to explain an Incursion, in which two realities collide and one or both may be destroyed.
The appearance places Gambit at what seems to be the Avengers’ home base, raising questions about his role and the fate of the Fox X-Men universe. Earlier footage showed him fighting at the X-Mansion, while fans have speculated that universe could be destroyed early in the film; Marvel’s trailers can be misleading. The film, which brings together established MCU characters, the Fantastic Four and Fox-era X-Men actors, is due in cinemas on 18 December.
