National Geographic has released a three-part docuseries, 9/11 Reunited, ahead of the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, bringing together survivors who shared life-or-death moments with strangers on the day so they can meet again. Produced with the 9/11 Memorial & Museum, the series aims to highlight stories of heroism and humanity amid the events, marking the start of the anniversary's commemorations.

All three episodes air together on Friday 21 August at 8pm ET/PT on National Geographic, and can also be watched live via streaming services carrying the channel, including DirecTV, Fubo, Sling and Hulu + Live TV, several of which offer free trials. The full series then becomes available on demand on Disney+ from the following day, 22 August.
