The CW has confirmed a release date for the second season of Law & Order Toronto: Criminal Intent, one of the more durable entries in the long-running Law & Order franchise since its debut at the end of 2024. The confirmation gives fans of the crime procedural a fixed date to look forward to as the wider Law & Order universe, including the flagship series and Special Victims Unit, also gears up for new seasons this year.

Season 2 will premiere on Monday, 5 October, at 9pm EST, with new episodes airing weekly on Mondays rather than the Wednesday slot used in previous seasons. The show has already been renewed for a third season, due to air in Canada early next year, though no US streaming or network date has yet been announced for that run. Meanwhile, the original Law & Order returns on NBC on 8 October, streaming next-day on Peacock.
