New pictures released ahead of The Other Bennet Sister Christmas special

New images have been released ahead of the three-part Christmas special of *The Other Bennet Sister*, which follows Mary Bennet after she agrees to marry Tom Hayward. The BBC has offered few plot details, but says an unexpected visitor from Mary’s past will arrive seeking her help, raising questions about her new identity and future as Mrs Hayward.

The first series, inspired by Jane Austen’s *Pride and Prejudice*, drew 6.5 million UK viewers in its first 28 days and was filmed largely in Wales. Ella Bruccoleri and Donal Finn return, alongside Ruth Jones, Tanya Reynolds and other cast members; Nerys Amber-Stocks joins as Mary’s housemaid. The three episodes will run for 30 minutes each and air on BBC iPlayer and BBC One in the UK, and BritBox in the US and Canada.
