Allison, formerly of the Epic Games Store, was replying to concerns on Reddit that his appointment might push Saber towards heavier monetisation following backlash over a paid voice pack for Space Marine 2. His comments matter because they offer the first indication in years of movement on the long-awaited Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake.

In his full statement, Allison said Saber's 2028 lineup was forming and would include Space Marine 3, its John Wick game, "hopefully" the KOTOR remake, and several unannounced titles, while insisting the company has never pursued microtransactions and would avoid repeating the Space Marine 2 voice pack issue. He also cited his prior work overseeing Alan Wake Remaster and Alan Wake 2, both released without microtransactions. Saber subsequently downplayed the remarks, telling IGN that Allison was speaking broadly and unofficially, and stressed that no release dates or launch windows have been confirmed for any of its upcoming titles.
