Nickelback have released a new song called 'Leave Me Behind', a ballad taken from their forthcoming album 'Everything Under The Sun'. The release offers an early sample of the record, which frontman Chad Kroeger has said will showcase multiple sides of the band, from hard-hitting tracks to more experimental and reflective songs.

Kroeger described 'Leave Me Behind' as a song about supporting someone through hardship while also carrying an underlying fear of being left behind, saying the tension between those two feelings gives it a personal quality. 'Everything Under The Sun' is due for release on 30 October via Virgin Music Group and will also include the previously shared track 'Rattle The Cage'.
