Paramount+’s legal thriller “Discretion”, starring Nicole Kidman and Elle Fanning, has started production and added Stephan James and Colton Ryan as series regulars. The eight-part drama centres on secrecy, power and non-disclosure agreements at a prestigious Dallas law firm, expanding its central ensemble alongside Josh Lucas.
Fanning plays Lenny, a summer associate who uncovers NDAs concealing a dark truth and finds that she has signed one herself, bringing her into conflict with Kidman’s powerful partner Sharon. James plays Logan, a corporate associate who mentors Lenny, while Ryan plays Boone, Lenny’s ex-boyfriend, a recovering addict who is nine months sober; the series is based on Chandler Baker’s short story and produced by A24.
