Paramount+’s legal thriller “Discretion”, starring Nicole Kidman and Elle Fanning, has begun production and added Stephan James and Colton Ryan as series regulars. The casting expands the ensemble for an eight-episode drama about secrecy, power and non-disclosure agreements at a prestigious Dallas law firm.

Fanning plays summer associate Lenny, who discovers a network of NDAs concealing a troubling truth and finds herself opposing Kidman’s influential law-firm partner, Sharon. James will play Logan, a corporate associate who mentors Lenny, while Ryan plays Boone, Lenny’s ex-boyfriend, a recovering addict who is nine months sober; the series is based on a Chandler Baker short story and is produced by A24.
