Nieve Ella talks new album ‘How Long Will It Take?’: “The world is crumbling day by day, so we might as well just be open and honest”
Nieve Ella has announced her debut album, ‘How Long Will It Take?’, and a UK tour for 2026. The alt-pop singer says the record confronts insecurity, mental health and the pressure of navigating adulthood, using candid songwriting to turn a difficult period into an ambitious, theatrical project.
Due for release on 16 October, the 11-track album follows three EPs and includes the singles ‘Drive’, ‘Bite Back’ and ‘Standing On A Pane Of Glass’. Ella, who is 22, said she had worked on the music for nearly two years and found the process therapeutic while receiving therapy, as it helped her understand and express how unwell she had felt.
