Nike’s new Hyperslides heat and vibrate your feet to help you recover after workouts

Engadget · 1 day ago

Nike and recovery brand Hyperice have unveiled the Air Zoom Hyperslide, a heated, vibrating slide sandal designed to aid muscle recovery after exercise. It marks the pair's second collaboration following the Hyperboot, a high-top shoe offering air-compression massage, and extends Nike's push into wearable recovery technology aimed at athletes and casual gym-goers alike.

The slides feature magnetic "Hyperslide Pods" on top of each shoe that generate heat, ranging from 42.8°C to 47.2°C across three levels, alongside three vibration settings, with controls available via Bluetooth through the Hyperice app or manually via onboard buttons. The battery lasts around an hour per charge via USB-C, and the shoes come in black or tan, in 15 sizes (UK 3.5–17), priced at $249 and going on sale on 29 September through Nike, Hyperice, Best Buy and Dick's Sporting Goods, with eligibility for FSA/HSA health spending accounts in the US.
