Ninajirachi and Porter Robinson have released a new collaborative single titled 'WannaCry', a project that represents a significant alignment between the two electronic music producers. The partnership carries particular resonance given Ninajirachi's long-standing admiration for Robinson, whose Sydney concert at Enmore Theatre served as her gateway experience to live electronic music during her teenage years.

Both artists have demonstrated ongoing creative output in recent years. Robinson released the full-length album Smile! 😀 in 2024, whilst Ninajirachi issued her debut full-length I Love My Computer the previous year. Following the single's release, Ninajirachi plans to undertake a series of North American headlining performances beginning in September, marking another milestone in her touring schedule.
