Nine Inch Nails celebrate Quake’s 30th anniversary with merch drop
Nine Inch Nails and Bethesda have marked the 30th anniversary of Quake with a limited-edition merchandise collection and a new campaign for the classic first-person shooter. The celebration highlights Trent Reznor’s enduring connection to the influential 1996 game, for which he composed the original score and contributed sound effects.
In a video shown at QuakeCon on 6 August, Reznor said he remained extremely proud of his work on Quake and praised id Software’s early games as creatively radical. The merchandise includes T-shirts, hoodies, a musical keyring and a replica ammunition box, while Bethesda has released Dawn Of The Machine, a 19-map campaign featuring altered enemies and new weapon variants.
