Nintendo has published its weekly Download update for North America, listing the new games and content arriving on the Switch and Switch 2 eShop for the week of 20th August 2026. The update highlights two major third-party releases: Elden Ring Tarnished Edition, a bundled edition including the base game and Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, and Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2, which brings Metal Gear Solid 4 and Peace Walker to Nintendo's platforms.

Elden Ring Tarnished Edition launches on Switch 2 on 28th August at $79.99, while Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 arrives on both Switch and Switch 2 on 27th August for $49.99, with pre-orders already open for both. Also featured are the sci-fi adventure 1000xRESIST – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, out immediately at $19.99, and two retro re-releases from Hamster's Arcade Archives 2 series, Pinball Action and V'Ball, each priced at $9.99.
