Nintendo has released a special "Nintendo Music" collection featuring tracks from the upcoming strategy game Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, giving fans an early listen ahead of the title's launch on 17th September 2026. The move follows a Nintendo Direct that detailed the game's characters, combat, classes and story, and continues a pattern of Nintendo pairing new releases with bespoke soundtrack drops on its music streaming app.
The release comprises 10 tracks totalling around 30 minutes, with titles including "The Blaze – Cycle of the Sun", "Legend of the Endless Flame" and "Bloodstained Arena". Access requires a Nintendo Switch Online subscription, and the app is now available on desktop as well as mobile. Nintendo is also adding a Fire Emblem-themed design to its Nintendo Today! app the following day, while the Direct revealed further plot details, including a "true protagonist" tasked by the god Sothis with saving a world thrown into turmoil five years after the "Heroic Games".

Nintendo's strategy game Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave is due out on 17th September 2026, and Nintendo has been building anticipation with a recent Nintendo Direct presentation that laid out its characters, combat system, character classes and storyline. Fire Emblem is a long-running series known for tactical, turn-based battles combined with character-driven storytelling.
Nintendo Music is the company's dedicated app for streaming soundtracks from its games, available to subscribers of its Nintendo Switch Online service on both mobile and, more recently, desktop. Nintendo regularly uses the app to release music from upcoming or newly launched titles, giving fans a way to engage with a game before or around its release.
The story centres on Nintendo making a batch of tracks from Fortune's Weave available on this app ahead of the game's launch, as part of the wider promotional run that includes the Direct presentation and other tie-in content across Nintendo's platforms.
