Nintendo Reveals Its Playable Gamescom Line-Up

Nintendo Life · 1 day ago

Nintendo of Europe has confirmed the line-up of games that will be playable at this year's Gamescom event in Cologne, running from 26th to 30th August. The showcase matters for Switch 2 owners as it includes Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, the first entry in Activision's flagship shooter series to reach a Nintendo console, arriving as part of a wider Nintendo–Microsoft agreement.

Alongside Modern Warfare 4, headline titles include Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, Orbitals, 007 First Light, Minecraft Dungeons II, EA Sports FC 27, Splatoon Raiders, Pokémon Pokopia and Metaphor: ReFantazio, with further games still to be announced. Nintendo Life speculates that any additional reveals are likely to be third-party titles or already-released games, rather than new information on Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and notes that Nintendo's upcoming financial results this week could prompt further software announcements ahead of investor questions.
