Nintendo Switch Sports Resort revives Wuhu Island, the setting of 2009’s Wii Sports Resort, for a new collection of motion-controlled sports. In a hands-on preview at San Diego Comic Con, IGN found the return appealing and suggested the game may address concerns that 2022’s Nintendo Switch Sports launched with limited content.

The new game will include 12 sports at launch, matching the original Wii Sports, though with a different selection. The preview covered archery, 100-pin bowling, power cruising and thumb wrestling; archery and bowling were praised, while thumb wrestling was viewed as potentially less deep or replayable than the original game’s swordfighting.
