NØ MAN Announce New Album Between The Sword And The Neck: Hear “They Have Names”
Washington, DC hardcore/screamo band NØ MAN have announced their new album, Between The Sword And The Neck, and released its single “They Have Names”. The song is presented as a fast, politically charged track that ends with recordings of loved ones naming people killed during Israel’s military campaign in Gaza, giving the release particular emotional and political weight.
NØ MAN, led by Maha Shami and formed in 2017 with former Majority Rule members, will release the self-produced ten-track album on 1 October through Iodine Recordings. It follows 2024’s Glitter And Spit, includes the earlier single “Moan”, and features contributions from Shami’s mother and daughter, Jenna Pup of HIRS Collective, and Kat Lanzillo-Hidalgo of FAIM; its title references Palestinian writer Ghassan Kanafani.
