Stephanie Dadd-Zammit, 35, pleaded guilty in Melbourne County Court to raping and assaulting a male prison officer she met on Tinder in September 2024. The court heard their relationship had initially involved consensual sex, but became threatening and erratic after he ended it, culminating in a prolonged attack that has left the victim waking in terror.

Before the assault, Dadd-Zammit allegedly made 99 calls to the victim within two hours and sent threatening messages while posing as an ex-boyfriend called “Anton”. The court also heard she threatened to expose his personal information, appeared intoxicated at his home and made disturbing statements before the attack; she later lost her job at Crown Casino after reports of the offending.
