No, The Duskbloods isn’t releasing on 24th September, according to Nintendo

Eurogamer · 3 hours ago

Nintendo has denied claims that its upcoming action-adventure game The Duskbloods will launch on 24th September, after a release date appeared in The Guardian's preview coverage following a press trip to Tokyo. Other outlets who attended the same event only referred to a vague "later this year" release window, prompting Eurogamer to seek clarification directly from Nintendo, which confirmed the date was inaccurate and that no release date has actually been set.

The claim surfaced just a day before a closed network test for the game, sign-ups for which opened after a trailer debuted at last month's Nintendo Direct. The story also comes amid unrelated leaked gameplay footage that briefly circulated on the Chinese platform Bilibili before being removed. The Duskbloods, developed by FromSoftware for Nintendo Switch 2, therefore remains without an official release date.

  • Nintendo denies The Duskbloods is releasing on 24th September.
  • A Guardian preview had cited that date; other outlets said "later this year".
  • Denial comes ahead of a closed network test and amid leaked gameplay footage.
