A Noah Kahan concert scheduled for Citi Field in Queens, New York, was cancelled at the last minute on Saturday 18 July due to severe weather, as thunderstorms brought risks of damaging winds and flash flooding. Venue organisers said safety was the priority in making the "very difficult decision", and Kahan told fans on Instagram he had "exhausted every option" before the show was called off, with no replacement date yet confirmed.

The gig was meant to be the first of a two-night stint, with the second show still due to go ahead on Sunday 19 July. Kahan's cancellation was not the only casualty of the weather in New York that weekend, as a Zeds Dead concert at Forest Hills Stadium was also scrapped, though that show has since been rescheduled to 14 August with original tickets remaining valid. The disruption adds to a difficult run on Kahan's "Great Divide" tour, which is supporting his fourth studio album of the same name, released on 24 April, with fans reportedly frustrated at having waited in the rain before the cancellation was announced.
