Noah Kahan Gets a Fake Call From Congress Ordering Fans to Wear Diapers at Concerts

Rolling Stone · 3 hours ago

Noah Kahan jokingly told fans at his Washington, DC concert that Congress had ordered them to wear nappies after reports of people urinating and defecating on venue floors to avoid losing their places. The staged phone call highlighted an apparent concert-etiquette problem and the burden such behaviour places on venue staff.

Kahan had already urged fans on social media in June to use the toilets, responding to accounts on Reddit and TikTok of unsanitary incidents at his shows. He is currently on a sold-out stadium tour for his fourth album, The Great Divide, while Olivia Rodrigo has separately said she has encountered fans wearing nappies to remain near the front at concerts.

  • Kahan mocked fans reportedly soiling themselves at concerts.
  • He urged attendees to use venue toilets.
  • Similar behaviour has been reported by Olivia Rodrigo.
