Noel and Liam Gallagher are both expected to attend the Venice Film Festival premiere of a new documentary about Oasis's 2024 reunion and their huge "Live '25" tour. Festival director Alberto Barbera confirmed the brothers had "promised" to appear in Venice, marking a rare public appearance together outside their on-stage performances, given that the pair had barely been seen together since the band split acrimoniously in 2009.

Titled "Don't Look Back In Anger", the documentary is produced by Peaky Blinders creator Steven Knight and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, and will screen out of competition in Venice's non-fiction category. It charts the brothers' rehearsals and tour following twelve years of estrangement, and will get a limited worldwide cinema and IMAX release from 11 September before streaming later in 2026 on Disney+, and on Hulu in the US. Separately, Liam has dismissed talk of a new Oasis album, telling fans he is not prepared for the inevitable criticism, with the band's last record remaining 2008's "Dig Out Your Soul".
