Chicago rapper Noname has released "Squatter," a new single featuring Virginia artist DRAM, as the second preview from her forthcoming mixtape Cartoon Radio. The storytelling track finds Noname recounting a real-life incident in which an uninvited guest moved into her house while she was away on tour, prompting her to enlist friends to remove the intruder and change the locks. The release keeps momentum building ahead of the mixtape's launch, though a firm release date has yet to be confirmed.

DRAM, best known for his 2016 hit "Broccoli," provides the song's hook, singing about protecting what is his over an upbeat instrumental. Cartoon Radio will also include the previously released 2025 single "Hundred Acres" and follows Noname's 2023 album Sundial, which Consequence named among that year's best rap releases. Separately, Noname is preparing to mark the tenth anniversary of her debut mixtape, Telefone, with a North American tour starting 31 July, running through September with dates across the US and Canada before concluding with a UK date at London's Pitchfork Music Festival on 7 November.
