Nothing Headphone (1) Pro: Studio Quality
Nothing’s Headphone (1) Pro combines a premium, distinctive design with a three-driver sound system, and a month of testing found it competitive with leading headphones from Sony, Bose and Apple. Its clear, engaging midrange and treble stood out, while the improved comfort and strong noise cancelling make it Nothing’s most premium headphone yet.
The headphones use aluminium ear cups, titanium arms and glass panels, and weigh two grams less than the plastic-bodied Headphone (1). Their sound was often more spacious than Sony’s WH-1000XM6 and Bose’s QuietComfort Ultra Headphones (2nd Gen), though the bass was less punchy; noise cancelling also fell short of those rivals. A physical Flat switch and extensive app equaliser settings let listeners adjust the sound to suit different music and preferences.
- Three drivers deliver clear, engaging sound.
- Premium metal and glass design weighs less than its predecessor.
- Custom EQ helps compensate for less forceful bass.

Nothing is a technology company best known for phones and audio products with a distinctive design. The Headphone (1) Pro is a premium wireless headphone, building on the company’s earlier Headphone (1).
It sits in a crowded market alongside established models from Sony, Bose and Apple. Buyers often weigh sound quality, comfort and noise cancelling, which reduces surrounding sound, as well as price and design.
The Pro’s three-driver system uses separate components to reproduce different parts of the sound range. Its physical controls and app settings let listeners adjust the sound, while its materials and lighter weight are part of its higher-end design.
