Manchester City visit Forest seeking to end two-match losing run

Manchester City travel to Nottingham Forest looking to halt a run of two consecutive Premier League defeats. Forest have yet to score at home this season, giving City a chance to recover, while the match comes amid continuing uncertainty over the consequences of City’s guilty verdict.

Forest have been relatively solid defensively, conceding only two more goals than fifth-placed Everton, but their attack has struggled. Summer signing Liam Delap has yet to deliver, Morgan Gibbs-White’s creativity is going to waste and Chris Wood has featured mainly as a substitute. City’s form has also drawn scrutiny, though the article suggests judging this match on its own merits while the club awaits a decision on punishment.
