Google is rolling out Chrome updates aimed at making cross-device browsing, research and studying easier. Chrome will now remember a webpage’s scroll position when a tab is moved between devices, helping users resume lengthy reading without searching for their place.

The feature will also preserve partially completed forms, while Gemini in Chrome is gaining broader media-analysis capabilities, including podcasts and non-YouTube videos. Gemini can extract key points, find information and explain unclear sections from audio or video, and can generate interactive quizzes from content open in a tab; quizzes are initially available in English on desktop in the US and India, with wider availability planned.
