Odyssey Entertainment Group Launches Original Content Division to Collaborate With Creators
Nashville-based Odyssey Entertainment Group has launched a new production arm, Odyssey Originals, aimed at partnering with creators to develop content while allowing them to retain ownership of the intellectual property they create. The move marks an expansion beyond Odyssey's original role as a management and brand partnership firm, founded in 2021 by Nicole Kasper and Paige Kosinski to support artists across areas such as lifestyle, comedy, food, wellness and entertainment.
Odyssey Originals will operate alongside two existing production banners: King Jester, a comedy-focused outfit led by Zack Slingsby and Brendan Nardozzi, and SickBird Productions, a female-led company specialising in podcasts, documentaries and digital series and headed by Jade Watson. King Jester's initial development slate includes projects with comedians Courtney Michelle, Antonio Baldwin and Kristen Marie, while Odyssey and SickBird have previously collaborated on the podcast "You Had 2 Be There". Company founders Kasper and Kosinski described the initiative as prioritising "people over profit" and helping creators build franchises they fully own, rather than relying solely on their online following.
