The West End production of “Oh, Mary!” is reuniting several prominent cast members for a limited London run at the Trafalgar Theatre, led by playwright and original star Cole Escola returning as Mary Todd Lincoln from 20 July to 15 August. The announcement matters because it brings together performers closely linked to the show’s acclaimed Broadway and London success, reinforcing the profile of a play that has already won major theatre honours and extended its booking period.
Giles Terera will play Mary’s Husband from 20 July to 15 August, while Michael Urie returns as Mary’s Teacher from 20 July to 1 August; Bianca Leigh and Tony Macht also rejoin for that opening stretch. From 3 August, Dino Fetscher, Kate O’Donnell and Oliver Stockley take over key supporting roles, and from 17 August to 26 September Jinkx Monsoon will play Mary opposite Scott Karim as Mary’s Husband. Performances on 28 July are due to be filmed, the London run is now booking through 2 January, and the production is directed by Sam Pinkleton.
