Stereogum reports that musician Oliver Tree, who it says died aged 32 in a helicopter collision in Brazil last month, is being honoured at a livestreamed memorial service in his hometown. The event reflects his unconventional artistic persona, combining live music, guest speakers and fan-focused displays rather than a conventional memorial.

The service is being held at UC Santa Cruz’s Quarry Amphitheater and streamed through Tree’s Twitch and YouTube channels. Speakers include Logan Paul, Ethan Klein and Diplo, while the programme promises unreleased video material and caskets representing Tree’s various characters; T-Pain also recently played an unreleased collaboration with Tree at Electric Forest.
