Oliver Tree Celebration of Life in Santa Cruz to Feature Diplo, Tribute Videos, Live Music
The article says Oliver Tree will be memorialised at a celebration of life at UC Santa Cruz’s Quarry Amphitheatre on Saturday, 25 July. The event matters as it will honour the musician following his reported death in a helicopter crash, while also raising money for a foundation he established.
The three-hour programme and livestream are due to begin at 7:30pm PST, featuring live music, tribute videos, speeches and previously unreleased footage. Guests are expected to include Diplo, Ethan Klein, Ethan Mercury and Logan Paul; proceeds will support Dr. Oliver Tree’s Extremely Epic Grant for Baby Geniuses. Tree, 32, reportedly died in Rio de Janeiro on 14 June alongside five others while touring South America.
