‘On the Line: The World Burger Games’: Full Day Productions Brings Five Guys Competition to Life in Prime Video Docuseries
A new five-episode Prime Video docuseries follows Five Guys’ global competition, tracing crew members from local qualifying rounds to a final championship. The series puts the people behind the fast-food chain at the centre of the story, showing how a staff celebration has grown into an international event.
The competition began in 2013 as an idea from the Murrell family and is now known internally as the Five Guys Games. In 2026, eight finalists took part in three events based on restaurant work: the potato race, cheese race and dressing and quality-control race. The winner received $100,000, the runner-up $50,000, and every finalist at least $10,000; Five Guys employs about 50,000 people.
