Its reception makes it one of 2026’s highest-rated games so far, despite receiving far less attention than larger upcoming releases such as Silent Hill: Townfall and Control Resonant.

The game has an OpenCritic score of 90 from 16 reviews, with every reviewer recommending it, while its PC version holds a 91 rating on Metacritic. Priced at £17.99/$19.99, it follows Glimmer, a matchstick-wielding bird seeking to defeat a wicked queen, and has been praised for its combat, platforming, exploration, customisation, difficulty and concise length.
