One of Breaking Bad’s Best Episodes Is Coming to Theaters Soon
An episode of Breaking Bad is heading back to the big screen, with the Season 4 finale, "Face Off," set to screen at Alamo Drafthouse cinemas on 7 September. The event marks "Breaking Bad Day," a celebration timed to protagonist Walter White's fictional birthday, and gives fans a rare chance to watch one of the show's most acclaimed episodes theatrically rather than at home.
The one-night screening is exclusive to Alamo Drafthouse locations, with entry requiring the purchase of a $10 food and drink voucher. Attendees will also receive themed merchandise, including a Heisenberg hat, blue rock candy, Hector's bell and a Gus Fring half-face mask. The episode depicts Walter and Jesse's tense, explosive showdown with Gus Fring and is widely regarded as one of the series' standout instalments; it follows El Camino's earlier brief theatrical run, though further Breaking Bad films or spin-offs remain unlikely as creator Vince Gilligan has moved on to other projects.
