‘Outlander’s Andrew Gower Officially Teases Gustaffson’s “Finest Work Yet” [Exclusive]

Andrew Gower’s band Gustaffson has released an acoustic version of “Closer” as a preview of its forthcoming second album, expected in 2027. The track was recorded at Blueprint Studios in Manchester, where the band also made its first album, and the release accompanies a return to touring.

Two further acoustic tracks, “Paris in Summer” and “Go Easy”, are due to follow as the band plays London and Liverpool. The original “Closer” video drew on a Sir Ben Kingsley interview and featured actors including Arty Froushan and Freddy Carter; director Steffany Collette gave the new videos a black-and-white style inspired by old footage of acts such as The Beatles and The Doors.
