The soundtrack and concert film of Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath’s ‘Back To The Beginning’ show are set for release on 11 December, with formats including 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, CD and vinyl. The release preserves a landmark event that was Osbourne’s final solo performance and the last show by Black Sabbath’s original line-up.
The show took place at Birmingham’s Villa Park in July 2025, with performances by Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Slayer and many other artists. Osbourne died aged 76 just over two weeks later, and the event raised around £11 million for charity. A deluxe box set, due on 23 April 2027, will include footage of all 35 songs, memorabilia, a book, a poster and a pendant necklace.

Explained simply
Black Sabbath are a heavy metal band formed in Birmingham in 1968, with Ozzy Osbourne as their original singer. The band helped shape the genre, and Osbourne later became a successful solo artist.
The original Black Sabbath line-up reunited for a concert at Villa Park, home of Birmingham City’s football rivals Aston Villa. The event also featured other rock and metal bands and raised money for charity; its significance is heightened by being Osbourne’s final solo performance and the original line-up’s last show.
