Ozzy Osbourne’s 1980 solo single “Crazy Train” has exceeded one billion Spotify streams, placing it in the platform’s Billions Club. The milestone underlines the enduring popularity of one of Osbourne’s best-known songs, decades after its release and following his departure from Black Sabbath.

Co-written by guitarist Randy Rhoads and bassist Bob Daisley, “Crazy Train” appeared on Osbourne’s debut solo album, Blizzard of Ozz, which has been certified five-times platinum. The song also reached a wider television audience through a lounge-style version used to open MTV reality series The Osbournes in the early 2000s.
