Palestinian injured, six others detained during raids in West Bank

A Palestinian youth was wounded by Israeli gunfire during an overnight raid in Qalqilya in the occupied West Bank, and six other Palestinians were detained in separate raids. The incidents highlight the effects of Israeli military operations on residents and homes across several West Bank areas.

The military said a hit was confirmed after soldiers opened fire when Palestinians threw stones at them. Reports said forces also damaged the contents of a home belonging to the Shawahneh family in Qalqilya, while those detained included two brothers in Jenin governorate and people from Kafr Qalil, south of Nablus.
