Palworld Finally Launches in Full Today on PS5, and the Patch Notes are Colossal

Push Square · 3 hours ago

Palworld, the survival, crafting and monster-collecting game from developer Pocketpair, has left early access and reached its full 1.0 release on PS5 today, 10th July 2026. Having been playable on the console since September 2024, the title has now received an enormous update that overhauls large portions of the game, to the extent that commentators suggest it will feel almost like an entirely new experience.

The 1.0 patch notes, shared via Steam, are extensive. Headline additions include 72 new Pals (bringing the total to 287 collectable creatures), new Awakening and Mutation mechanics, and a brand-new area called Sunreach, an archipelago of floating islands. The update also significantly reworks the story and main missions, adds new sub-missions, weapons, armour, base-building parts and reworked Raids, and delivers a wide balance overhaul alongside sound, visual and multiplayer improvements. Notably, Pocketpair has confirmed the price will not rise, remaining at $29.99/£24.49.
