Palworld's developer Pocketpair and Singaporean gaming firm Garena have announced Palworld Online, a mobile MMO based on the hit monster-catching survival game. The move marks the latest expansion of the Palworld brand beyond its original PC and console release, following the launch of a trading card game a few weeks earlier that reportedly sold out quickly. It reflects Pocketpair's efforts to grow the franchise across multiple formats after Palworld's success on traditional platforms.

Garena, known for titles including Free Fire, Arena of Valor and Call of Duty Mobile, is developing the game in partnership with Pocketpair, aiming to preserve the "depth, immersion and freedom" of the original while adapting it for mobile play. The companies say the new title will feature an original narrative and a "seamless, interconnected" open-world MMO structure allowing players to team up and explore together. Given Garena's strong presence in Asian mobile markets, the game is expected to launch there first before a possible wider international release.
