Pandora Wonders Gives the Classic Pearl a Playful New Life
Pandora, the world's largest jewellery brand, has launched Pandora Wonders, a multi-year series of artisan-crafted charm collections that will be released annually, each built around a distinct material and featuring international guest collaborators. The debut capsule, available in select stores and online from 9 July, comprises 11 dangle charms made with freshwater baroque pearls and co-created by celebrity stylist Harry Lambert, marking a playful, whimsical reimagining of a classic gemstone.
Because baroque pearls form naturally, no two are alike, and each was chosen for its individual character before being hand-set by artisans in 14K gold-plated detailing. The charms take whimsical shapes such as a mouse, a heart, a pea in a pod, a pufferfish, a mushroom, an ice cream cone, a rocket, a squid and a frog, echoing Lambert's mix of heritage and avant-garde styling for clients including Harry Styles, Alexander Skarsgård and Emma Corrin. Pandora, founded as a Copenhagen storefront over 40 years ago and now present in more than 100 countries, says its jewellery uses 100 percent recycled silver and gold, and is marking the launch with an immersive experience at the Montauk Beach House in New York from 10 to 12 July.
