Paramount and CD Projekt Red Partner on Live-Action Cyberpunk 2077 Film Adaptation

Paramount Pictures is adapting CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077 franchise into a live-action film, with producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura attached. No release date has been announced, and the project adds a film to a franchise already expanding across games and television.
The game has sold more than 40 million copies despite a troubled 2020 launch. Its Netflix anime has a second season debuting later this month, while a sequel, Cyberpunk 2, is in development with 184 people working on it; Paramount is also developing a Call of Duty film for 2028 and a Street Fighter film due on 16 October.
