Passengers grapple on plane after row over luggage space – before other travellers step in and body slam one of the men into empty seats

Two passengers fought aboard a plane at Bogotá’s El Dorado International Airport shortly before take-off, after an argument over overhead luggage space turned physical. Other travellers intervened, separating the men and restraining one in an empty row of seats.

Footage shows one man grabbing the passenger in front for at least eight seconds before fellow travellers pull him away and wrestle him into the aisle. The struggle lasts about 20 seconds and ends with the man being lifted and slammed into empty seats, then pinned down. The passenger who was grabbed is understood to be Mexican; airport authorities and Colombia’s National Police were approached for comment.
