Passionfroot raises $15M to expand its B2B creator marketplace to the US

TechCrunch · 2 hours ago

Passionfroot, a Berlin-based startup running a marketplace that connects B2B creators with brands, has raised $15 million in a Series A round led by Insight Partners. The funding comes as AI-driven product launches flood the market, pushing B2B companies to rely more heavily on creators for visibility on channels such as LinkedIn, Substack and YouTube. With the new capital, co-founder and chief executive Jen Phan is relocating to New York to open a US office, alongside a new office in São Paulo, as the company expands beyond its current 15-strong workforce.

Passionfroot says revenue grew thirteenfold over the past year, with clients including ElevenLabs, Figma, Replit, Framer and Gamma. Since its 2024 raise, it has launched an AI agent called Zest to help brands run campaigns and find suitable creators, and it operates a wallet that has paid out more than $10 million to creators over the past 18 months. The round also included existing backers Creandum, Supernode Global and s16vc, taking total funding raised to over $21 million, and arrives as rivals such as Substack and Beehiiv also build out new monetisation tools for creators.
