The New York Film Festival has added the world premiere of Paul Thomas Anderson's concert film Cameron Winter At Carnegie Hall to the Spotlight section of its 64th edition. The film captures Geese frontman Cameron Winter's sold-out solo performance at Carnegie Hall, cementing his reputation as a distinctive "cabaret art-pop balladeer" and marking a notable pairing of an acclaimed filmmaker with a rising musical talent.

The concert took place on 11 December 2025, with Winter performing a stripped-down set accompanied only by a Steinway grand piano. Anderson filmed it on 16mm and 35mm with a crew that included Licorice Pizza collaborator Benny Safdie, and the film will screen on 35mm at Alice Tully Hall on 1 October. The festival runs from 25 September to 12 October, and Winter also appears in Jonathan Glazer's Joy of Joys, another Spotlight selection premiering at NYFF64.
