Lifetime has announced Love on the Vineyard, a new original film starring Paula Patton, Derek Luke and Janet Hubert. The film matters for highlighting Oak Bluffs on Martha’s Vineyard, one of America’s most historic Black communities, while exploring love, family and the preservation of cultural heritage.

Patton will play Washington, D.C., commercial real estate executive Jordan Wilson, who returns to the island with her teenage daughter and reconnects with former love Eric Robinson, played by Luke. Jordan becomes involved in saving a historic inn important to the local Black community, while confronting grief and family tensions; Tracey E. Edmonds is executive producer, and the film will premiere on 21 November at 8pm on Lifetime.
