Pauly Shore Bringing Newest Special ‘Road Comic: Live From Portland’ To PlayStation 5 In November

Pauly Shore’s new half-hour stand-up special, *Road Comic: Live from Portland*, will be available free on demand through PlayStation 5’s Live TV service from 1 November. Its release adds to a small number of comedy specials on the service and gives PlayStation viewers an option after Sony ended sales of films and television programmes through the PlayStation Store in 2021.

Shore recorded the special at Portland Helium Comedy Club and directed it himself. It covers his upbringing around comedians at the Comedy Store, former co-stars, health scares and a dispute with Will Ferrell at Equinox; it is also due on Shore’s YouTube channel on 17 November. The article notes that the listed producer credits for Ronald McDonald, Burger King and Taco Bell appear tongue-in-cheek.
