Peak Design’s latest bags have clever integrated hooks

The Verge · 3 hours ago

Peak Design has launched City Line, a new collection of six lightweight everyday-carry bags, including backpacks, crossbody bags, a sling and a tote. The range is notable for a new built-in "BagLev" hook that folds away into a pocket and can be used to suspend the bag from a table edge or chair, keeping it off dirty floors.

The collection comprises a 15-litre and 22-litre City Backpack, a 15-litre City Tote, 6-litre and 12-litre City Crescent crossbody bags, and a 2-litre City Sling, all available from launch in various colourways. They are made from a new lightweight, weather-resistant material called MonoShell and include organisational pockets with magnetic or zip closures, plus a dedicated hidden compartment for tracking devices such as Apple AirTags. Peak Design says the focus was on refining materials and design rather than adding features, aiming for bags that feel lighter and simpler to use.
