Pentatonix's Scott Hoying and his husband Mark Hoying have announced a new children's album, "Little Birdie's Big Symphony," which features their baby daughter Birdie James Hoying on her recording debut. The 10-track album, due for release on 20 August, was inspired by the couple's early experiences of parenthood, incorporating an iPhone recording of Birdie's first sounds made on the day she was born.

The album is the Hoyings' second children's record, following 2025's "M.Y. F.A.M.I.L.Y.," and brings together guests with personal significance to the family, including children's duo Trout Fishing in America, whom Scott discovered aged six, and Christina Perri, who officiated the couple's wedding and features on "Landslide" – the first song Scott sang to Birdie. Longtime friend Kina Grannis also contributes vocals, while Scott and Mark write and perform several tracks themselves, with Mark singing a verse in Tagalog to honour his and Birdie's Filipino heritage. Scott produced the record with orchestration from Dave Pierce and A.J. Sealy.
