Perspective Films Reveals Inaugural Documentary Film Slate (EXCLUSIVE)

Perspective Films, a new documentary co-production initiative led by producer Jess Devaney, has announced its first five projects. The slate examines who shapes public history and includes films about immigration enforcement in Minneapolis, C-SPAN, Gaza, Farm Aid and portrayals of policing.

The projects are at different stages, from development to post-production, and feature directors including Oscar winners Laura Poitras and Geeta Gandbhir. Perspective grew out of the Perspective Fund’s documentary support programme, which offers selected films up to $375,000 in grants, along with guidance from development through release.
