Phoebe Bridgers to Make Her ‘SNL’ Return as Musical Guest on John Mulaney-Hosted Episode
Phoebe Bridgers will return as the musical guest on *Saturday Night Live* on 14 November, with John Mulaney hosting. The booking brings the singer back to the programme after her 2021 performance of “Kyoto”, which drew attention when she smashed her guitar on stage.
NBC also announced that The Strokes will perform on 7 November, when Druski makes his hosting debut; the band has appeared as musical guest four times before. Mulaney will host for the seventh time. The announcements follow an episode that drew criticism over Shane Gillis’s jokes about women’s gym attire, while Bridgers’s new album *Lost Weekend* debuted at No. 2 on the US albums chart.
