Pitbull Reveals the Hilarious Thing Dolly Parton Told Him About His Famous Nickname

Pitbull recalled Dolly Parton joking that she should be called “Miss Worldwide” when they discussed his famous “Mr. Worldwide” nickname. He agreed she deserved the title, and shared the story while paying tribute to the singer and the support she gave him early in his career.

Pitbull told Billboard’s Latin Music Week gathering in Miami that Parton was as genuine off stage as she appeared in public. He has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide, and said Parton believed in him before he became a global star. At a concert, he described her as hardworking, funny and kind-hearted.
